Jim McKay Maryland Million Day is widely celebrated as ''Maryland's Day at the Races''. The event was started by Jim McKay in 1986 and has continued to develop as a Maryland tradition. Day includes a festival of competitive thoroughbred racing and activities for fan of all ages.
