October 8, 2025 CTS, Chesapeake Telephone Systems Welcomes Tyler DeMent as Sales Executive Millersville, MD – CTS, Chesapeake Telephone Systems, a leading provider of business and public sector communications solutions, is pleased to announce the addition of Tyler DeMent as a Sales Executive.

Tyler will join the CTS sales team under the leadership of Tom Collins, Director of Sales. Tyler brings a proven track record of driving revenue and building strong client relationships. In his prior sales roles with Wahsega - a leader in paging and communication systems - Tyler led the business development team as Sales Manager, building on his early success and nationwide ranking as a top producing Solutions Advisor. His strengths in solution-oriented selling, customer service, and channel partner collaboration align closely with CTS’s commitment to delivering tailored communications solutions to businesses and government organizations across the Mid-Atlantic.

Tyler earned his BA from McDaniel College in Westminster, MD. While at McDaniel, he was a four-year member of the football program and was honored by his peers when voted team captain. After college, Tyler continued his athletic career professionally in Austria for two years, fueling a love of travel and new cultures. Tyler is currently pursuing his MA at Rider College. Outside of work, Tyler is most proud of being a dedicated father to his 3-year-old daughter.

His strong background in sales, combined with his leadership skills and customer-focused approach, makes Tyler an excellent addition to the CTS team. In his new role, Tyler will focus on developing new customer relationships, supporting existing clients, and helping CTS grow its presence throughout the region.
