Main Street Annapolis Property Sale Signals New Chapter for Local Business

Annapolis, MD – December 4, 2024 – Hyatt Commercial announces the sale of the mixed-use property at 167 Main Street, located in the heart of downtown Annapolis. The +/- 5,100 SF, three-story building sold for $1,750,000. John Gallagher, Senior Vice President at Hyatt Commercial, brokered the transaction.

For over 30 years, the property’s first floor housed The Leader, a beloved retail shop. However, the store closed its doors at the time of sale, marking the end of an era for the locally owned business.

The new owner plans to revitalize the building, which features second-floor offices and third-floor apartments. Additionally, John Gallagher will work with the buyer to secure a new retail tenant for the first floor.
