News Release: 8/19/2025 Hyatt Commercial Brokers Off-Market Sale of 2661 Riva Road Office Building in Annapolis

Annapolis, MD – August 19, 2025 – Hyatt Commercial has successfully brokered the off-market sale of 2661 Riva Road, Building 800, a 9,300-square-foot, three-story office building in Annapolis, Maryland.

Laurie Zuiderhof and Treva Ghattas of Hyatt Commercial represented the buyer, the Teachers Association of Anne Arundel County (TAAAC), while Justin Mullen and John Gallagher of Hyatt Commercial represented the seller, Defense Street LLC, in the transaction.

The property’s strategic location—directly across from the Anne Arundel County Board of Education—made it an ideal acquisition for the buyer. The Teachers Association of Anne Arundel County plans to occupy the building after the existing lease concludes.
